| MPPIA stands for the Motion Picture Production Industry Association of British Columbia. |

| MPPIA's diverse membership works together and with all levels of government to improve our competitiveness on the world stage. MPPIA acts as the voice of the industry on matters of collective concern and plays a strong role in terms of industry advocacy and promotion. |

| MPPIA's diverse membership represents all sectors of BC's film and television industry. At present, MPPIA represents 29 member organizations, including labour unions and guilds, producers' associations, studio facilities, independent producers, professional service firms, equipment suppliers and post production facilities. |

| MPPIA's mission is to develop a detailed action plan to guide government and industry leaders in building a viable, competitive and sustainable film industry in the Province of British Columbia. |
