Every year, MPPIA hosts and participates in industry-driven fundraising events that endow selected charities. It’s the industry's way of thanking its many partners in the community.
MPPIA's signature fundraising event is the annual All Star Golf Tournament, which benefits a different BC charitable organization each year. Past beneficiaries include Habitat for Humanity, A Loving Spoonful, Projections Youth Project, The Paralympic Foundation and the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society.
Proceeds from the tournament also support British Columbia's next generation of filmmakers through the MPPIA Short Film Award -- a partnership initiative between MPPIA, BC Film and the Whistler Film Festival.
